Letter #11 “A picture is worth 1000 words”. Random photos with explanations!
Here are just some random pictures of life on the mission. Grammie Tammie wants to remember them!
Papa and Grammie Love movies- but there haven’t been many worth watching. They have gone a couple of times since being on their mission! This is the theatre they go to - the seats don’t recline but they are very comfortable!
They have a very small electric oven so Grammie Tammie made a Texas Chocolate Sheet cake but in 3 different pans— only getting to bake one at a time!
Grammie Tammie loves that they have a pool in their complex where she can go and do laps for exercise! They keep it very clean and most the time she is the only one there!
They love going to Costco — feels like going home! They usually get a good ole’ hot dog while they are there. Instead of relish they give you jalapeños….but it taste yummy. It’s one of the few places you can get ice and soda in a paper cup!
Here is another time they took a couple of missionaries with them so they could get some things. They bought them a big pizza to take home and a mango smoothy for one and a hot fudge sundae for the other one!
Here is the gate to the church where the mission office is. Grammie wants to remember
Papa getting out and opening the gate when they would arrive before the missionaries did!

Dogs have it rough here too! They are all so skinny! Here is a mama and her little puppy
Here is where they live
This is a most delicious lime/mint drink they had at this place that makes yummy ramen!
They come mow the little strips of grass in their front area of their condo every few weeks. You have to move your car out so they can do it
Here is another view of them mowing
You often see families or a parent with a kid on a motorcycle. They want to remember this too!
Papa got tired of having to go get his hair cut all the time so he got it cut really short! In this hot weather he loves having it super short!
Here is the fish that the sweet Becerra family made for them when they visited them in Isla Mujeres. The father is a fisherman so they always have good fish to eat. This family does not have much. They had to sit on big white paint buckets because they don’t have chairs. They only have have one room and it’s the bedroom for the parents and their teen girls. The area they sat in was their cement patio. It is where their stove is and their refrigerator is in a hallway from the patio to their bedroom. They felt very humbled and loved visiting with them. They are a very good family!
Adios for now! Hope you enjoyed our letter of random photos! Nos Vemos!!
Con Amor,
Pepito!
